About the Artist
Below are images of different projects which have molded my style.
Born and raised in Ocean Springs, MS. 1972, I honed my craft by connecting my art with real world people and situations. From as early as 4, my parents recognized my passion for creating. As a young boy, I would often draw portraits of locals who frequented his Grandfather's cafe'
At age 11, My grandmother introduced him to the airbrush. This was a new outlet to produce art on a variety of surfaces.
At age 19 , I found work at a local mall in a t-shirt shop, creating art for thousands over the next few years.
This daily interaction with the locals and tourists turned into the ability to easily understand what my customers were looking for. "Airbrushing t-shirts wasn't in my master plan, but I enjoyed it and looked at as a stepping stone, something my father would always tell me...."
My parents were always encouraging and positive forces in my life to believe I could accomplish anything i set out for."
As my career progressed, I would continue to take on new challenging surfaces. From Automotive and Motorcycle art, Flame jobs, to racey graphics on race boats, home and business mural, even the bottoms of swimming pools.
Eventually, I found myself working heavily in the entertainment business. It was my calling, Blacklight mural artistry, Fire painting, and Large murals in the entertainment industry. After ending my retail / graphics career in 98, I began my new mural adventure in 2000 in Los Angeles. With a backpack of airbrushes and automotive spray guns, a journey into over 100 cities and Canada to create mural and blacklight art for entertainment industry.

Transition from Commercial artist to Canvases
" I consider myself to be extremely blessed to have travelled to so many cities painting murals for so many great clients. I'm anxious to make a complete transition to the fine art world "
Recently relocated (8/2018) from NW Florida to Central Phoenix, AZ to focus on the art in the area.
In my earlier years of automotive art, I used a technique which allows light to scatter accros surfaces, lots of opaque and transparent layers, creating Luminescence. My techniques for brush strokes include the use of heavy acrylics, fast brush strokes, pallette knife and finger smearing.
